scheduled except Moodle orientations (see below).

Moodle Software Logo Tutorials

Moodle is a course management system used by many colleges and universities around the world.
It is called an "open source" software whereby many people contribute to its continued development. As a result of its wide use, there are many orientations available for you to view. This is a partial list:

Introduction to the Online Program and to the Moodle Course Management System – This workshop will give an overview of the online program and the Moodle course management system.  Topics include where to start, how to log in, submit assignments, participating in forums, taking quizzes, messages and how to get help when needed.  Personal login problems will be handled at the end of the workshop.

Campus Student Email Account – This workshop will help students set up their student email accounts, establish their nicknames, and learn to use the basic features.

Wednesday, Jan. 7th from 1:30 to 3:30 pm in L-004

Moodle Menus in Depth This workshop will provide in-depth instruction on the individual features of the Moodle menus for assignments, forums, and message center.   Especially beneficial for students who lack confidence after attending the Introduction workshop and desire more help.

Saturday, Jan. 10th from Noon to 2 pm in L-004

Overcoming the Unique Challenges of An Online Student – This workshop includes such topics as online study habits, online resources, online support services and personal computer set-up.  This workshop will begin with an overview of each topic and allow time to focus on the interests of the majority in attendance.
